In the heart of the beautiful Gorski Kotar, on the western slopes of Bjelolasica, lies Begovo Razdolje, which is also the highest settlement in Croatia with a completely preserved natural environment. Not only that, their heritage is carefully preserved there, such as the specific Štokavian and Ikavian dialects and traditional home crafts.
For all this, it is a magical place that will amaze you in every way.
The hotel is located in the only inhabited place in Croatia above a thousand meters. The hotel, with its characteristic architecture and pleasant ambience, has 43 rooms with 86 beds, an aperitif bar, a restaurant, an area for seminars, a lounge for fun games and a beautiful summer terrace. Accommodation is comfortable in double and triple rooms equipped with bathroom (bathtub, shower, toilet), telephone, TV and mini bar. Each room has its own balcony.
The hotel was completely renovated in February 2007. The rich and varied gastronomic offer of the restaurant, in addition to the standard delicious board meals, also includes all Goranian specialties: game dishes, frogs, trout, forest fruit desserts... and catering services are recommended for organized groups. In the winter months, skiing, skiing school, ski equipment rental, sports entertainment, snow-boarding, sledding and cross-country skiing are offered in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The movables also include a ski lift for the 400 m track.
Currently, the hotel is closed (the ground floor and basement have been emptied) for the purpose of detailed renovation and upgrading of the categorization, for which the documentation and cost sheets have been fully prepared:
1) ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT – renovation of the envelope
Thermal insulation of external opaque and transparent parts of the building envelope
a. External walls - facades, with the replacement of external carpentry and the envelope of spaces that are conditioned to different conditions from the surrounding spaces (wellness)
b. Renovation of the roof
c. The ceiling to the attic outside the open and ventilated area and the floor on the ground.
2) ENGINEERING PROJECT
Heating, cooling, ventilation and domestic hot water - activities to introduce renewable energy sources - ground-water heat pump and solar collectors
3) ELECTRICAL PROJECT
Improvement of the existing or installation of a more efficient indoor lighting system; renovation of existing or installation of new wiring circuits for power supply and control of mechanical installations and other consumables, and also includes installation of KNX system (smart rooms), sound system, fire alarm system and sealing of wiring
4) FIRE PROTECTION REPORT
5) PROJECT OF RATIONAL USE OF ENERGY AND THERMAL PROTECTION
6) INTERIOR PROJECT – basement (multipurpose room, gymnasium) and 1st floor (reception, restaurant, bar, meeting room)
7) WELLNESS PROJECT
8) KITCHEN PROJECT according to HACCP principles
